Netherlands’ Amsterdam Schipol airport has reported 2008 cargo traffic declined by 1.4 per cent to a total of 1.59 million tonnes and some 47.4 million passengers travelled through the airport, down 0.8 per cent on the previous year.

Dubai-based shipping and logistics provider GAC Group has confirmed several senior management changes, these include: Christer Sjödoff, presently holding two portfolios as regional director for Asia Pacific region and Group vice-president, GAC Solutions will move to Dubai, UAE as the dedicated Group vice-president. Replacing Sjödoff in Singapore is Bengt Ekstrand as regional director for Asia Pacific.
