Delta confirms Sydney flights

MCH Holding has welcomed confirmation that Delta Air Lines will begin a daily nonstop service between Sydney and Los Angeles International Airport from 03 July, 2009. The airline will operate B777-200LR aircraft offering up to 18 tonnes cargo capacity, however due to the length of the flight, cargo space is often weight-restricted, especially on the inbound flights.

Germany’s Lufthansa Cargo will launch an air-sea service from Europe to a number of destinations in Australia via Shenzhen and Hong Kong, China from January 1. Carriage will be under a single air waybill number, with the cargo coming into Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane from Asia by sea.
