Frankfurt releases half-year stats

Germany’s Frankfurt Airport has reported its January to June 2008 passenger and freight figures with passenger numbers up 2.2 per cent at 26.3 million compared to the same period last year and airfreight throughput at 1.0m metric tons, an increase of 3.8 per cent. The number of take-offs and landings was almost unchanged at 241,646, while maximum take-off weights (MTOWs) increased by 2.0 per cent to 14.1m metric tons.
