FedEx and Young Achievement Australia have announced the three Australian finalists of the 2008 FedEx Express/ Young Achievement Australia/Junior Achievement International Trade Challenge.  The three two-member teams will represent Australia at the international final to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from July 29 to 01 August, competing against teams from South Korea, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and the host country, Malaysia.

WFS wins Asiana handling contract

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has won a tender to provide cargo, ramp and passenger handling services for Asiana Airlines in France. The South Korean airline launched services between Seoul and Paris at the end of March this year. It now operates three B777 flights a week from Paris CDG to Seoul, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. As well as providing passenger and ramp services, WFS expects to handle some 3,600 tons of cargo for the airline in its first year of operation.
