TCC GETS NOD AS GSSA FOR OVER-BORDER FLIGHTS

Johannesburg-based The Cargo Connection (TCC) will represent South African regional airline Airlink as its cargo GSSA, following its appointment by the airline's dedicated cargo handling arm, Airlink Cargo. TCC will cover Airlink's network of over-border destinations throughout Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique and Madagascar.

FEDEX SIGNS ALLIANCE DEAL WITH AUSTRADE

FedEx and the Australian Trade Commission (Austrade), have signed a two-year alliance agreement to expand trade between Australia and the United States. Through this alliance, U.S. and Australian businesses will have the tools to better take advantage of the Australia-United States Free Trade Agreement, which was effective in January 2005. Through the agreement, more than 99 per cent of U.S.-manufactured goods exported to Australia are duty-free.

To date organisers have signed up 310 exhibitors, 900 conference delegates and over 6000 attendees for the expo.
