Latam adds BCF on Miami-Bogota run

South American airline Latam has deployed its second B767 BCF freighter on the Miami-Bogota-Miami route, providing capacity to Colombia´s flower clients and importers needing capacity to transport general cargo to South America. Although its incorporation will allow offering greater capacity throughout the network, it will initially serve the markets of Colombia, Brazil and Central America.

The company currently has five passenger planes converted to freighters.

Lau Tian Chen (pictured) has been appointed head of DHL’s Asia Pacific Innovation Center (APIC) in Singapore. 
APIC is a dedicated centre for innovative logistics services in Asia Pacific and one of four DHL innovation centers globally,  a collaborative platform showcasing the latest innovations to reinvent supply chains.
His most recent role was vice president, head of business development at the APIC.
