Dave Carroll, the Canadian musician who won worldwide fame by composing a song and video after USA carrier United Airlines broke his guitar, flew United in the past few days on his way to a speaking engagement about customer service. And United lost his bag. “It’s bizarre,” said Carroll.

Turkey’s flag carrier Turkish Airlines says it is to buy three Airbus A330 planes for delivery in 2012. Turkish Airlines announced in October 2008 that it would buy up to 105 planes from Airbus and Boeing, worth about US$6 billion at list prices to be delivered between 2010 and 2012.
