BAA books GBP225 million Gatwick loss

BAA, the UK airports owner that sold London Gatwick airport to Global Infrastructure Partners last week for GBP1.51 billion, says it booked a GBP225 million loss on the deal. BAA had valued the airport for accounting purposes at GBP1.735 billion.
