Germany-based Hoffmann Air Cargo Equipment (ACE) GmbH together with DSM Dyneema have developed a new lightweight air cargo net ‘Dyneema fiber’ that weighs less than 8 kilograms as opposed to polyester cargo nets that typically weigh between 15-18 kg.

The UK’s Times media said the two sides are still negotiating the terms of the agreement and BA ceo Willie Walsh has said there’s no pressure on the parties for a speedy conclusion.
