The European Commission has delayed - for 10 days till end of August - ruling on a planned further 50 per cent purchase by Air France’s KLM of Netherlands-based Martinair Holland.  The buy would give the Air France group 100 per cent of Martinair, which offers air charter, scheduled air and air freight services.

BAA to lose two London Airports

The UK’s dominant airport operator, BAA, has been told by the country’s Competition Commission it must sell two of its London airports, tipped to be Stansted and Gatwick (leaving it with Heathrow) and in Scotland, must sell either Edinburgh or Glasgow airport.
