IATA to set up Australian BWG on e-freight pilot

Australia will join the second phase of the pilot program of the International Air Transport Association's e-freight initiative. The first phase of the e-freight project began last year with eight countries participating. It is designed to eliminate the need to produce and transport paper documents for air cargo shipments by moving to a more simple, industry-wide, electronic, paper-free environment.
