Mainfreight spends NZ$26.4m to buy Halford

New Zealand's Mainfreight says acquiring Australian freight forwarder Halford International will improve its position in air freight and that it has signed a call option deed to buy the privately owned Halford for NZ$26.4 million in a deal expected to be finalised next month.
