LH extends freighter contract

Lufthansa Cargo and World Airways have extended their contract for 15 months beginning July 1, 2008 for three World Airways MD-11 freighters to operate between Europe and the United States on behalf of Lufthansa Cargo. The carrier operates 19 MD-11 freighters and utilises three additional MD-11 freighters from World Airways.

Air X, which has represented SAA Cargo on the east coast of Australia since 2003, has been appointed general sales and service agent (GSSA) for Western Australia following the departure of Ashley Morrison, SAA Cargo manager Australia. AirOne transfers freight management to cargo counts

The Italian carrier AirOne is to outsource its entire international cargo business to Germany’s cargo counts as part of a total cargo management agreement. The three-year agreement, which will be implemented in stages, encompasses sales, marketing, freight handling, accounting, IT and controlling as well as flight data, yield and capacity management.
