Pacific Blue to Phuket?

Pacific Blue has applied to the International Air Services Commission for capacity to operate seven weekly B737-800 flights between Australia and Phuket, Thailand. The IASC now has invited other applications for the available capacity, with a closing date of 20 May 2009.

Fiji’s Air Pacific says income for the first few months of this year has been hit by low cargo rates and low airfares. It has now announced a 10 per cent pay cut for staff to help offset a cash flow problem because of the decrease in income.
