Singapore Air cuts Manchester flights

Singapore Airlines is cutting flights out of Manchester Airport, UK to its home base in Singapore to three flights a week – down from five flights - from May. The carrier’s three-times-daily service to London will be maintained, but equipment will be downsized from B747-400 to B777-300ER, equivalent to a cut of 97 seats a day.

Malaysia’s Malaysia Airlines and India's Jet Airways have inked a code-share agreement for flights between Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Chennai, India from March 3.  Jet Airways’ two-letter code also will appear on Malaysia Airlines flights operating between Kuala Lumpur and four other Indian cities — Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
