Urs Stulz has been selected to replace outgoing Hans Nilsson as managing director cargo Europe for Swiss WorldCargo. Stulz, was previously director cargo Switzerland. The process to select a successor to Stulz and to ensure a smooth transition is underway and further announcements will follow shortly.
Nilsson is leaving the company.

Garuda to outsource cargo role in Australia

Garuda Indonesian Airways is reviewing its cargo operations in Australia and is expected to outsource the sales role. Cargo manager Australia Joe Hadad confirmed the carrier was investigating options for cargo sales, including the possible appointment of a general sales agent (GSA) but added that it was ‘early days’ and that no final decision had been made.

Record results for Japan’s ANA Group

Japan’s ANA Group has posted a record consolidated operating profit of JPY92.1billion on a  record consolidated revenue of JPY1.48 trillion for the twelve months ended March 31, 2007. This represents a year-on-year improvement of 3.8 per cent and 8.8 per cent respectively.  Consolidated net profit for the period was JPY32.6 billion, the second highest in ANA’s history and 22.2 per cent better than the FY2005.
