Following a rash of nine global airline failures in the past few months, a warning of further airline collapses has come from default and insolvency insurance supplier International Passenger Protection, which said: “We expect several other airlines to come into the same difficulties during this difficult period.”

New animal handling facility for Frankfurtfacility

Lufthansa Cargo has officially opened state-of-the-art airport animal facilities in Frankfurt. The new Frankfurt Animal Lounge near Gate 26 in the north of the airport uses floor space of 3,750 square metres to house the various departments for animal transports that previously were scattered around the airport complex.
