Malaysia Airlines has increased its fuel hedging. It will pay US$89 a barrel of crude for 43 per cent of its fuel this year, according to ceo Idris Jala. Crude oil hit US$110.20 a barrel earlier this week.

Singapore Air Cargo and DHL Global Forwarding donated a trip to Singapore at this week’s Watsonia Grower Dinner held at the Burswood Hotel, Perth, Australia.
The prize went to pig exporters Graham and Belinda Dent. A large number of female pigs reared in Western Australia are exported as fresh meat to Singapore.
