Japan’s ANA Group posted a record consolidated net income of JPY117.9 billion on record revenue of JPY1.14 trillion for the nine month period ended 31 December 2007, a 176.9 per cent and 0.6 per cent increase respectively.

Boeing has started assembling its first 777 Freighters and now has 80 orders including eight (on a lease deal through Deucalion Capital) from AeroLogic, the joint venture airline owned by Lufthansa Cargo and DHL Express. Valued at US$2 billion (catalogue), the eight 777 Freighters were for Iceland’s Avion Group, but that order was cancelled and the planes transferred to Deucalion.
