Shanghai Airlines to fly Shanghai-Bangkok

Following the introduction of a direct Chongqing-Bangkok service using a 184-seat B737-800 in January, China’s Shanghai Airlines now plans to offer a direct service between Shanghai and Bangkok by year-end. The route is already served by Thai Airways International, Air India and China Eastern.

Nalin Rodrigo has been appointed regional manager Asia Pacific for Air Charter International. He previously was air cargo manager for SriLankan Cargo in Colombo. Sydney-based Rodrigo will be responsible for charter sales, both passenger and cargo, for ACI.
