Lawyer flags cargo antitrust suits

The law firm involved in the US$200 million legal settlement by British Airways and Virgin Atlantic in the antitrust lawsuit involving fuel surcharge pricing for passenger flights says freight is next.   "This is only the beginning," said Michael Hausfeld, senior partner at Cohen, Milstein, Hausfeld & Toll.    BA and some two dozen other airlines are now in the firm’s sights.

First-ever flights from Yantai to Seoul

China Postal Airlines has inaugurated the first-ever mail and cargo flights between Yantai, China and Seoul, Republic of Korea using B737 equipment, cutting delivery times between the two cities by 12 hours. The service is scheduled to operate five times per week.
