New multi-million dollar freight facility opens in Rosehill

Long-haul logistics operator Northline today unveiled a state-of-the-art warehousing and freight distribution facility in Rosehill, Sydney, the latest stage in a A$60 million project to create a national network of integrated distribution centres.

China Southern back on track with significant increase in profits

China Southern Airlines (CSA) reported total traffic turnover for the first six months of 2007. Totals were 4,250 million tonne kilometres, 26.4 million passengers and 403 thousand tonnes of cargo and mail, representing increases of 14.6 per cent, 16.6 per cent and 7.2 per cent respectively compared to the same period last year.

Kang Pacific plans October take-off

Fujairah-based Kang Pacific Airlines is expected to become the fifth airline of the UAE when it begins services in October this year. Indian businessman Paul Kang plans to operate services to Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Bangladesh, India and the UK. The company has start-up capital of A$10million which will be used initially to secure two DC-10s, a B747 and a B737.  If it gets off the ground, Kang Pacific Airlines will join other UAE airlines Emirates, Etihad, Air Arabia and RAK Airways.
